The importance of Bilingualism

Many countries around the world use more than 1 language. They have their official language, which is the language spoken throughout the whole country, and the unofficial language(s) which are languages spoken in certain areas or within certain groups. Being able to communicate in such a fashion is very good for the brain as it makes it work differently. We hear one thing in one language(English), then the brain automatically translates it to the language we are most comfortable with(French), and then gives an answer in the original language(English).

Furthermore, being bilingual opens one’s horizons as a new language opens you to a whole other part of the world. Whether it is for business, tourism or simple fun, being able to speak another language opens up all the countries where the language is spoken for the aforementioned activities. This is why our French summer camp in New York is the best for your children. It will give them the edge that is needed to get ahead and also, they will have the opportunity to have fun while learning a new language.
