Is having fun the best way to learn?

How important is having fun to the learning process? This is a question that teachers and administrative staff of schools around the world have been thinking about. Some say that once the children start having fun, they will loose their focus and not be able to learn anymore. Others believe that allowing the kids to use their imagination and learn in an environment that is not "controlled" is the best way for them to succeed.

Many countries around the world use more than 1 language. They have their official language, which is the language spoken throughout the whole country, and the unofficial language(s) which are languages spoken in certain areas or within certain groups. Being able to communicate in such a fashion is very good for the brain as it makes it work differently. We hear one thing in one language(English), then the brain automatically translates it to the language we are most comfortable with(French), and then gives an answer in the original language(English).
